Rack, Row & Position of product

1. Add a Rack

A Rack helps you organize your inventory — for example, “Rack A”, “Rack B”, or “Warehouse 1 – Front Shelf”.

Steps

1. Log in to Jadid Khata Dashboard → go to Add Products → Racks.

2. “Add Rack”.

3. Enter details:

   • Rack Name (e.g., Rack A)

   • Location / Description (optional).

4. Click Save.
   ✅ Your rack will now appear in the product list.

🧱 2. Add Rows inside the Rack

Rows represent shelves or levels within a rack (e.g., Row 1, Row 2).

Steps

1. Go to product → Racks.

2. Click the rack you created (e.g., Rack A).

3. Click “Add Row”.

4. Enter:

   • Row Name/Number (e.g., Row 1).

   • Description (optional).

5. Save.

Now each rack can have multiple rows.

📦 3. Add Products (and link to Rack + Row)

Steps

1. Navigate to Products → Add Product.

2. Fill in product info:

   • Product Name

   • Category / Brand / Unit

   • Cost Price / Sale Price

   • Stock Quantity

   • Select Rack (from dropdown)

   • Select Row (optional if you’ve created rows).

3. Upload Product Image

   • Click “Upload Image”.

   • Choose image file (JPG/PNG).

   • Save.

Your product will now show in the POS screen with image + location (Rack + Row) info.
